Custom Dog Belly Bands are a super house training tool and hygiene aid for your dog. Designed to protect your home
(from incontinence, marking, or accidents) and to train your dog to “tinkle” outdoors, these belly bands help your dog
feel uncomfortable when he's voided where he should not. Just place the custom made belly band on your dog when
inside and remove when paper training or outdoors.
Great for:
Hand crafted from layers of cotton and cotton blend materials, these dog belly bands are ade for ease of use and durability. Belly Bandsare top sewn to ensure longevity and keep the layers in place. Belly bands have an absorbent inner layer; belly bands close with hook and
loop tape. Belly bands are easy on-easy off! Insert a panty liner or incontinence aid onto the dog belly band for extra absorbency. Doing
this, however, may decrease the amount of discomfort your pet feels and thereby lengthen the amount of time necessary for training.
Launder your custom dog belly band in warm water and machine dry on low heat. Touch up the belly band with a warm iron. Close the hook
and loop tape before washing or drying.
Design your own custom belly band or choose from those shown. Fleece is especially nice in colder weather as the belly band can help to
keep your dog warm. See the FABRICS page for choices.
To size the dog belly band, measure snugly in front of your dog’s back legs. The finished belly band will be longer than the measurement
you order as belly bands are made to accommodate hook and loop tape. This will also allow you to adjust the belly band to your dog.
Tip: Order several belly bands so that you will be able to keep your pet in training mode while other belly bands are washed and dried.
Note: Wally Dog Wear does not place a water proof barrier in its Belly Bands. Doing so would trap the urine against the dog's sheath and
skin, causing burning and irritation if left on for an extended period of time. Instead, we place absorbent layers inside the belly band. While
these layers may not totally stop a leak with a large amount of voided liquid, it is still best for your dog's health. We recommend that you
insert a feminine pad or incontinent aid such as Poise or Depends for extra protection if you feel this may be an issue.
